Beef Tallow and Big Growth: Amallow Skincare and Beauty

Ever hear someone say, "I made this in my kitchen," and you're not exactly sure how excited you should be? Like, are we talking cookies or deodorant? Well, Hunter and Lauryn, the brains behind Amallow Skincare and Beauty, took the kitchen-made concept and turned it into something you’d proudly slather on your skin (it's not cookies).
Hunter and Lauryn started Amallow with a pretty clear goal: create skincare products using high-quality beef tallow. Their mission focuses on clean, quality ingredients because what goes on your skin matters just as much as what you eat.
Growing Pains: Packaging Woes
As Amallow moved from the kitchen countertop to actual customers, Lauryn and Hunter quickly learned that scaling a skincare brand is not as easy as it sounds. One of their biggest headaches? Packaging. Finding premium, frosted-glass jars in manageable quantities for a business of their size felt like searching for bigfoot.
Their initial suppliers struggled to consistently keep up with demand, causing regular shortages. Not ideal when your customers love your stuff and are impatiently refreshing their browsers, waiting to order again. Nothing kills hype quite like an “out of stock” message.
Keeping the Shelves Stocked: Warehousing
When we started working with Amallow, our main role was straightforward: make sure Lauryn and Hunter never had to sweat about packaging again. Their dedicated packaging consultant, Caden, stepped in to ensure the right containers arrived at the right times.
With limited warehouse space, Amallow also benefited from our storage solutions:
- Extra packaging stored at no additional cost
- Deliveries sent exactly when needed
- Flexibility to scale as their business grew
Now that's a package deal! Get it? Packaging.....
Smooth Sourcing and Support
Amallow’s good idea deserved good packaging to match. The frosted glass jars gave their customers that "this feels fancy" moment.
As Amallow expanded into new product lines such as lip balms, dry shampoos, and other natural goods, each required unique packaging solutions. Their dedicated packaging consultant, Caden, helped source and produce packaging tailored specifically to each product's needs.
Why Amallow Stuck Around
Hunter and Lauryn didn’t just stick around for our bottle selection, warehouse space, or packaging puns (though, yes, those help). They mentioned it was the continued support that sealed the deal. Real, human, pick-up-the-phone-and-actually-care kind of support. As much fun as it is talking to robots and navigating through a list of menu options, sometimes your problem can best be solved by somebody with opposable thumbs (at the bare minimum).
No Beef Here!
Amallow is just one of the stories that makes doing what we do worth it. Solving a problem or helping an idea take shape is what we live for. We are proud to have played our small role in turning their good idea into good packaging.
