With Thanksgiving right around the corner, it is time to reflect on the things for which we are most thankful. At Container & Packaging Supply, we are grateful for containers. This Thanksgiving season, I asked several CPS employees which containers they are most thankful for. I received the following replies. (Some of these might have been altered slightly from the original responses.)

CPS Employees are Thankful For…

Jon is thankful for the B239 plastic bottle. He said that it is perfect for peanut butter, and his boys love to eat peanut butter sandwiches. This was his reply, but he loves his wife's absolutely amazing melt-in-your-mouth peanut butter cookies, and needs that plastic bottle so that she can make them for him. He uses his kids as an excuse to make sure that the house is stocked with plenty of peanut butter.

Jeff loves the B063 milk jug. He and his family drink a lot of milk. And he is glad that there is a convenient method for getting that milk home. He could always just keep a cow in his kitchen, but the milk jug is less messy. (I bet his wife is thankful for milk jugs too.) Stephanie prefers her milk in a smaller jug, the B125. If there weren’t these little jugs, I suppose she could just borrow Jeff's cow occasionally instead of keeping one in her kitchen.

Jana is grateful for leftovers. She recently read the blog post about Thanksgiving leftovers and was reminded about how much she likes having single servings of turkey and stuffing for the week after Thanksgiving. So she uses the T006 8 ounce tub. Good choice, Jana.

Tracie is super organized. She likes to keep things exactly where they belong. If you want to drive her a little bit bonkers, go mix up some paperclips and staples and spread them all over her desk. Since she likes to keep everything orderly, she loves the J093 jar. She likes to keep little things in it, especially in her bathroom. That way she doesn't have to worry about her Q-tips and hair elastics get mixed up.

Stephen is a hoarder. That's why he fits in so well at CPS. He stores large quantities of food. He's secretly ready for the zombie apocalypse. When it comes, I'll be knocking on his door. He keeps all of that extra food in EZ Stor pails. I'm grateful for Stephen stocking up on extra food so that I can mooch off of him when disaster strikes.

Mike is also getting ready for the zombie invasion. But instead of storing regular items like wheat and sugar, he stockpiles jerky. He keeps it in the B069 jerky container. And he's grateful for jerky. I bet he even has jerky for his Thanksgiving dinner.

A few of our employees are thankful for pretty things. Some of our containers are very visually appealing. Sometimes, there is nothing wrong with judging things by their looks. Especially containers. Kim likes the G261 glass French square bottles. Carrie adores the G265 Mason jar because it is so cute (her word, not mine). And Carole likes the different colors of the G068 Boston round bottle (I think those are gorgeous too!). Heather likes the clear version (G068C) because it makes her customers happy.

Other Thanksgiving Favorites

The other employees at Container & Packaging Supply are also thankful for other containers and packages. Plastic bags (Sandy), Gamma seal lids (Bird), and HIS liners (Jared). If you ask anybody else at CPS, you're sure to find a wide range of favorite items. This Thanksgiving, find your own special item for which you are most grateful.
