Allan's Coffee & Tea is doing something seriously interesting in the world of specialty coffee and craft syrup. It's not just about the flavor (though they nail that too), it's about giving their customers a complete experience. For their premium syrups, Allan's needed a very specific syrup bottle in order to handle their steamy hot-fill process at a whopping 180°F. A container like that is not easy to come by… but Allan's Coffee & Tea, and our team here at Container and Packaging, we were up for the challenge!

As packaging experts, we hunted high and low to find the best solution. With our extensive network, we identified that PET was just the right material. But not just any old PET container would do. We needed something with thicker walls, a special formulation, and ribbed sides to support that hot-filled syrup. Sadly, there were no 32 oz syrup bottles out there that met their exact requirements at the time. But that didn't stop us!

We embarked on a year-long journey with Allan's Coffee and worked tirelessly, collaborating on the design, and putting it through testing. And you know what happened? We made magic, my friend. We created a custom-made bottle that perfectly suited their hot-fill syrup needs. And the design turned out so amazing that other companies are already lining up to use it for their own products. Talk about a win-win!
