Screen printing has rules. Send us your design and we'll check it against every one of them before anything touches a screen. If something needs adjusting, our design team will get your art print-ready.

Pantone Color Matching

Screen printing uses pre-mixed Pantone spot colors, which means the exact orange you approve is the exact orange that prints, on unit one and unit ten thousand. Our Studio will help you find the right match and set it up correctly in your file.

We also have Pantone metallic inks that add a subtle shimmer to your print. If you're looking for even more shine hot foil stamping can be combined with screen printing to get crisp ink and a little extra sparkle on the same container.

▸What's The Difference Between Screen Printing And A Label?

A label is a separate piece of material applied on top of your container. Screen printing skips the middleman and puts the ink directly into the surface, so there's nothing to peel, bubble, or wear off over time. The tradeoff is flexibility: labels are easy to swap out if your branding is still evolving or you're running small batches across multiple SKUs. Screen printing is the better move once your design is locked in and you're ordering at volume.

▸What File Format Should My Screen Printing Designs Be In?

Vector files (.ai, .svg or .pdf), spot colors only. Screen printing pushes ink through a mesh screen onto your container, which means it can't replicate gradients, photographs, or transparency effects. Simple, bold designs with clean lines print best. Send us your artwork before anything gets started and our design team will check it against print requirements. If something needs adjusting, we'll flag it before a screen ever gets made.

▸How Many Colors Can I Use In Screen Printing?

Glass, plastic, and metal containers all print well. The real limiting factor is surface geometry and texture, not material. Screen printing needs consistent contact between the screen and the container, so smooth, flat, or cylindrical surfaces are ideal. Heavily textured containers or irregular shapes make it difficult to get a clean print. If you're not sure whether your container qualifies, send us a photo and we'll give it the 'ole eyeball test.
