1. Site Navigation: containerandpackaging.com
consists of eight "departments" or sections: Catalog section, Clearance
section, Cosmetics section, Candles section, Food Storage, Packaging
Wizard section, Information, and Decoration.
Every page in containerandpackaging.com contains links on the left-side
menu to the Home pages of each of these sections. Links to the largest
of these sections are also found on the top menu of each page.
Within each section, menus on the left side of the page are provided
for navigation within that section. For example, the Information
section has a menu with links to pages such as: FAQ's, Site Map,
Privacy Statement, Policy Statements, Contact Information, etc.
Pages within the Catalog, Clearance, Cosmetic and Candle sections
include "bread crumb" links that build across the top of the page
just below the top menu. These links keep track of pages you move
through within the catalogs, allow you to navigate back to earlier
pages easily. The catalog provides links to each category of containers
we offer. By clicking on a category link, you will be presented
with sub categories. Click on the sub category link to be presented
with a list of pictures and item numbers for specific items in our
catalog. By clicking on a link in this item list, you will be presented
with detailed information about a specific container or closure
as well as pricing information and an "Add to Cart" Button. At this
point, you may order items and proceed to checkout.
If you are having troubles deciding which container best suits your
product, try using our Packaging Wizard. This program will ask you
three questions and present you with a list of appropriate containers
that will better match your product.

2. Pricing: Item pricing is found on each individual
item description page. This page can be found by browsing through
the online catalog through the various categories and subcategories
until a list of code numbers and descriptions are displayed. Click
on a code number and specific information including pricing for
the item will be shown. For more information on site navigation,
click here. Each item has two price levels,
one price for smaller quantities, and another, lower price for full-case
purchases.

3. Shipping: We ship a majority
of our orders through UPS. Orders are processed in 1 to 3 business
days. UPS shipments should arrive to any point within the continental
United States within 5-7 business days after the allotted 1-3 business
days for processing. Large orders requiring the involvement of a
shipping/trucking company will be determined on a case by case basis.
As stated in this website, we cannot guarantee glass shipped UPS.
We package glass in such a way that it should be well protected
under normal shipping conditions.
Please Note: We discourage shipping using customer UPS account numbers. On occasion,
customers ship using their UPS account and fail to pay their UPS bill. In these
situations, we are charged for the UPS freight to and from our customer.
In the event that it is necessary to ship using our customer's UPS account number, we require a signed and faxed statement, wherein the customer states that Container & Packaging Supply is authorized to use their UPS account number AND that Container & Packaging Supply is authorized to charge any shipping costs that come back to CPS on a customer provided credit card.

4. Minimum Orders: We have no minimum quantity
requirements. You may purchase as many or as few items as you would
like. On orders for less than $50 of product (freight charges do
not count toward your $50 total), we do charge a $10 small order
fee.

5. PayPal: Currently we do not accept payments through
PayPal or other companies that provide similar services. We are
looking into adding this service to our website.

6. Product and Shipping Quotes: To obtain your free quote,
please follow these instructions carefully. Find the item within
our catalog you would like a quote for. In the blue "Buy
Online" box, enter the number of items or the number of cases
you are interested in. Press the "Buy # of items" button
if you are interested in less-than-case quantities, or press the
"Buy # of cases" button for full case quantities. Repeat
this process for all the items you would like to order. Once you
have added all items to your cart, press the "View Cart"
button. You will now be taken to the online order page. Please
enter your shipping Zip Code in the popup menu that appears
on your screen. If you would like to add more items to your shopping
cart to be included in your quote, click the "Continue Shopping"
link and repeat the process described above with any other items
you would like to add to your cart.
If you have entered each item you are interested in, you will
see your product total cost at the top of the page. Scroll down
the page about half way to see shipping costs. This information
is in small print just below the "I agree" field. Please
do not click on the "Finish" button.
* Please Note: Freight quotes to anywhere outside the
continental US are NOT accurate through our current shopping cart
(we are working on correcting this). We will need to requote any
shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, etc. Please call 1 800 473-4144
to speak with a customer service representative. If we are required
to pull and package an order in order to provide you with a freight
quote, there will be a 20% restocking fee for returning that order
to stock if you cancel the order.
To order, repeat the same process using your credit card information
and filling out the rest of the form.

7. Return Policy: We accept returns of merchandise under
the following conditions:
1. Items are unused
2. Items are in original condition
3. Items are in original boxes
4. Clearance Items and Special Order items will not be accepted
5. All returns are subject to approval
If these conditions are met, the customer will pay the freight
back to our company. Upon receipt and inspection of the product
we will issue a credit less a 20% restocking fee. If these conditions
are not met, no credit will be issued to the customer.

8. In-house decoration: We can custom decorate
your bottles, jars or closures for you in-house. For more information
on our capabilities and policies, please visit our custom
decoration page.

9. To order samples:
1. Press the "Order Sample" button. This will add one
item at no cost to your shopping cart
2. Do this for up to 10 different items you would like a sample
of.
3. Click the "View Cart" button after you have ordered each item
you would like.
4. In the small pop-up window, enter your Zip Code in the "Ship
Postal Code" box and press the "Submit Destination" button.
5. Review the order form and make sure 1 of each item you would
like is on the order form.
6. Fill out the order form with your credit card information. (Used
to pay for the freight costs - usually about $4.80)
7. Type "I agree" in the I agree field.
8. Select Ground freight. (We will ship US priority mail which is
less expensive)
9. Fill in your name, phone number and email address. (Privacy Policy)
10. Enter your Deliver To address.
11. Type "Sample Request" in the Special Instructions field. (Field
#5)
12. Press the "Finish" button to submit your sample request.
We will receive your sample request when we download our order (once
a day, each morning). Processing your order will take 1 to 3 business
days, though we try to speed up sample orders. Once processed and
pulled, we will bill your credit card for the shipping amount (again,
usually about $4.80). Priority Mail usually arrives in an average
of 2 to 3 business days. We do not offer drums, pails, gamma lids,
glass display jars, plastic hex jars, candle glass 12 oz. or larger,
or other large items as samples, and reserve the right to refuse
any sample request.)
Please note:
Due to the abuse of our sample policy on several occasions, we will
only allow for 10 different items to be sent out per sample request.
We have had some people order 50 to 100 different items as samples.
We cannot ship so many free samples.
Orders which include samples and product are fine. We will not,
however, send samples of items that are included as regularly ordered
items on the same sales order. For example, orders requesting 12
B130 and 1 sample B130 will not be accepted. We will only send the
12 B130's.

10. Email List: Our email list
has been discontinued. Emails that were included on our list have
been deleted from our system.

11. International Shipments: We
do ship to Canada regularly and also ship to other countries. Our
online shopping cart is unable to receive International orders at
this time. Please call 1 800 473-4144 to place orders.
Due to the time and expenses of completing forms and paperwork for
international shipments, any orders shipped Internationally will
be charged a $10.00 handling fee.

12. Matching Containers & Closures: containerandpackaging.com
makes finding matching containers and lids easy. On each item page,
the right hand column of the page is entitled "Matching Items".
Below are listed closures that match the container you are viewing
or containers that fit the closure you are looking at. Simply click
on the image or item number of the matching item you are interested
in. This will take you to the Detail page for that item. See a B403
for an example and look on the blue-striped right hand column for
matches.

13. Shopper Memory: By default,
our shopping cart never stores any customer information. For customers
who do not want to reenter their shipping information and billing
information every time they order from Container & Packaging
Supply, we provide Shopper Memory. Shopper Memory will speed up
your check out process on future orders. Simply click on the Shopper
Memory option on the Shipping/Billing page of our cart.
Shopper Memory will store the following information:
Phone Number
Email address
Name
Company Name
Shipping Address, City, State and Zip
Billing Address, City, State and Zip
Shopper Memory will not store credit card numbers, credit card types
or expiration dates on your credit card.
If you have Shopper Memory turned on and would like to turn it off,
simply click the box next to: "Please do not store my shipping
information and billing address for future orders."

14. Shopping Cart phone number: Our database
creates customer accounts for everyone that orders from our store.
This allows us to track your packages, and find your order information
when you call in with questions. In order to ensure that we can
find information about your account when you call, we need to keep
all your orders within one customer account. By using the same phone
number each time you order, your orders will all be kept within
the same customer account.

15. Printed boxes: In order to do our part to keep landfills as ecologically friendly as possible, we often order misprinted corrugated boxes from a local box manufacturer. These boxes would end up in landfills without ever being used, so we buy these boxes to ensure they are used at least once before being disposed of. In a small way, this helps keep landfills from filling up as quickly.
Use of these packages also help keep the cost of shipping and handling down, allowing us to pass these savings on to our customers.

16. Scuffed Bottles and Jars: Bottles and jars made from PET plastic often get scuffs and scratches during shipping. This occurs even during shipping from a manufacturer to our warehouse. This is due to the nature of PET plastic. It is virtually impossible to ship PET plastic without getting scuffs or scratches. We have found, however, that most customers can cover scuffs with labels or other forms of custom decoration, and once filled with product, most scuffs and scratches become invisible. Please be advised that PET plastic is susceptible to these markings.

17. Will Calls: Will Call is available as a shipping option for zip codes near one of our warehousing locations. If your zip code is located in a Will Call zone, the option to come pick up (or will call) your order will be available in the shopping cart in the "Select Shipping" box.
Occasionally, a qualifying zip code will not offer Will Call as a shipping option. This happens when part of your order is not available from your will call warehouse and the order, or part of the order
must be shipped from another warehouse. Items not available from your will call warehouse will display in your cart with the message "Not available for Will Call". When this happens,
you may either have the entire order shipped to you, or remove the unavailable items from your cart, and Will Call will then be an available option. You may then create a second cart order
to have the unavailable items shipped to you from another warehouse.
