Product Properties

Description: The L029B is a 70-450G gold lid with a vacuum seal button and a plastisol liner. When sealed properly the vacuum seal button fully depresses, indicating a proper seal. This plastisol liner (which cannot be removed), is a vinyl material, that when heated, and then solidified, creates an air-tight seal. Plastisol should not be exposed to temperatures above approximately 190°F (88°C); as it may deform or come loose from the lid. Please test a sample.

First Color/Film Positive: Orange PMS 1375

This is an example of a film positive for the first color of a 2 color silk print. A film positive is made for each color.

Film positives are always printed in black. Screens are then made from this film positive.

Second Color/Film Positive: Khaki PMS 4685

This is the second color for a 2 color silk print. Notice that the registration marks (the crosshairs) are in the same positions on both film 1 and film 2. This tells the printer how the 2 colors interact with one another.

When the registration marks are perfectly aligned, the printer can see how color one (orange) and color 2 (khaki) are intended to interact.

Final Result

Two films are created from your artwork (1 film per color), films are used to make screens, screens are put in printing machines, ink passes through the screens onto the bottles ... and voila, your bottle is printed.
